Julia Giordano Bianchi

My name is Júlia Bianchi, I’m 20 years old, from Brazil, and I’m currently studying Aerospace Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). I have been passionate about science since I was little, when I began taking astronomy courses online. Over the years, this interest grew through my participation in scientific olympiads and educational initiatives. I am passionate about making science and technology accessible to young people and inspiring the next generation of STEM students. Today, I am a Citizen Scientist recognized by IASC, MCTI, and NASA, a multi-medalist in scientific competitions, an amateur astronomer, and the discoverer of two asteroids recognized by NASA. I am also olimpic coordinator and math monitor at the Nicolinha & Kids STEAM group, where I teach and support young students, and I am an analogue astronaut with Habitat Marte-BR. Additionally, I currently work as a scholarship researcher at UFSC’s Interdisciplinary Data and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory.
